Here I am everything I ever wanted at my feet, broken down yet I still feel complete, The light shines down on what I used to be, yet you still want to stand so close to me. And you are, you are my spotless mind, everything I needed to find. You tool my wings and thought me to fly; you’d broken me down and thought me to cry I was sitting watching the world pass on by, just waiting for a dream to fall through my blinds. And then you walked through my door. And here we are, dancing on the ruins of my past, and time seemed to go by so fast, when you’re lost in an endless love. And I would give it all, just to see you smile, for your lips hold the moments that make life worthwhile. You took my wings and you thought me to fly, you’d broken me down and you thought me to cry I was sitting watching the world pass on by, just waiting for a dream to fall through my blinds. And then you walked through my door. And stop me now, if this is getting old, tell me now if your story’s been told, stop me now.

Paper Street 04:13
We are all living on Paper Street now, getting by surviving somehow, the world’s getting darker, and we are growing old are you getting colder too?. We are all living on Paper Street now, living in the lost and found, the world is getting darker and we are getting older are you, are you getting tired too?. Is this were you want to be when the world stops turning? Is this were you want to be when the world stops turning? Stops turning. When the world goes down. We are living on Paper Street now; we are living with the broken few. The worlds getting older and we are getting older, are you getting colder too? Is this were you want to be when the world stops turning? Is this were you want to be when the world stops turning? Stops turning. When the world goes down. We must sing before we talk. We must dance before we walk. If the world is going to end don’t put it down to divine intervention, put it down to a higher ascension, this is bigger than you and me. If the world is going to end don’t put it down to divine intervention, put it down to a higher ascension, this is bigger than you and me. Yeah we are living on Paper Street.

Walk with me, down by the riverside. Talk with me as we watch the world go by. And stay with me, as we watch the city lights change. And watch all the darkness creep in and steal away our day, our day. I love the way you smile. So stay a little while. I’ve been saving all of my time, hopeing to someday spend it with you. I’ve been saving all of my memories, saving them for that dark day I know is on its way. I love the way you smile. So stay a little while. Because when I look back, on all that we had, I smile When I look back on all that we had I smile. When I look back on all that we had I smile. Because it’s perfect in design, you’re perfect in design. If I could go back to where it all began, I would make you smile a little bit more.

There is a boy lying out in the cold, he’s been striped by the memories of old, aint it funny how, your time goes by, when your to weak to cry. But without a love of his own, he falls and sinks like a stone, without a sound he hits the ground, he’s breaking down, he’s falling apart at the seams. These walls grow tired and old , the youths been bought up and sold, the picture frame falls off the wall, and breaks. And the poison that runs through its veins is old and broken and decayed, it’s taken apart, brick by brick, all that’s left. But is he holding on a little much, is he holding on a little much, is he holding on a little much To 21 years of mistrust, it’s been 21 years. And he’s here lying on the floor, hoping for him to come back and say its ok, its safe , it is all ok, it is all over, But i knows that it’s just a lie, it’s just so fake, and its coming back around, it is changing the way I’m living day to day. There is a boy lying out in the cold, he’s been striped by the memories of old, without a sound he hits the ground, he’s falling down. But without a love of his own, he falls and sinks like a stone, without a sound he hits the ground, I’m falling down.
